The products are being awarded for their attributes, qualities, functionality and/or performance beyond industry standards.
The PIA’s recognize innovative LED and solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market, while also spotlighting the players behind the components that make up these light sources. The judging and evaluation of products and systems were done by a distinguished panel of 16 designers and lighting specialists skilled in product evaluation.

The AmpChamp connectors are UL Recognized, the only tape light terminal connectors in the industry to carry this distinction. Featuring a unique, patent-pending design, the connectors provide secure and reliable connections to eliminate slippage and connections that loosen over time. The connectors also enable longer tape light runs on a single connector and can accommodate tape lights as narrow as 0.4 inches (10 millimeters), while support the most/highest number of connections within the smallest space.
